Recipe Inspiration: Who doesn't want a delicious late-night snack?
Courtesy of Edible Life in YYC: Grape and Prosciutto Pizza
Sure, Colin Sweeney murdered his wife... and sure, he killed his dog, too. That doesn't mean Lockhart Gardner isn't on a mission to clear his name for some party indiscretions gone wrong. Lucky for Sweeney, the whole firm is on the case (that's what $22 million in annual business will do), and that means late hours for everyone, especially when you're trying to climb the corporate ladder. Lucky for Robyn, who jogged back to the office after investigation drinks, Cary had a piping hot pizza sitting on his desk. Forget about needing a ride home - sometimes you just need a late night snack. With a pizza this good... and company as handsome as Cary Agos, who could resist?

Recipe Inspiration: Let bygones eat biscotti... or not
Courtesy of Edible Life in YYC: Glazed Lemon Biscotti
Elsbeth Tascioni: She's quirky, brilliant, whimsical and stealthy. She also loves sweets... and patterned purses. Not only that, she's kind, friendly and impossible to hate, especially if you're the opposition. This week, while the offer of biscotti from Josh was tempting, his ruthless desire to undermine Elsbeth's defense of Eli was just too much. The biscotti had to go back... but if it had been JS's Glazed Lemon Biscotti, I'm pretty sure she would have taken one for the road.

Like popsicles on a playground, Lockhart Gardner is in the mood to give things away... as long as it comes to the tune of $300,000. Popsicles and desperation? Sounds like it's time to pull up to a real dessert bar and make the most out of this new opportunity, because when life gives you popsicles, why not dip them in chocolate?

Recipe Inspiration: All things French.

Between Diane's sweet-talking French judges and "Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien" echoing throughout the episode, there was nothing left to do this week but keep things on theme. Souffles can be complicated, but, more complicated than Eli's impending legal woes, Peter's campaign going down in a flurry of racial bias cross-fire or Lockhart Gardner's on-going battle with Clarke Hayden? I think not. At least this way, the challenge has a delicious reward at the end. Eat up!

He's being investigated, he can't tell Alicia or Will, he has Diane lurking in dark corners wearing sun glasses and Peter's campaign could be compromised. Pass the hot sauce, Eli - things are about to go up in flames.

Recipe Inspiration: Kalinda's favourite beverage (next to tequila of course!): Milk!
Courtesy of Edible Life in YYC: Vanilla Milkshakes
Kalinda's commitment to a minimalist lifestyle has made its way into her kitchen cupboards, but, next to Alicia, there's one thing she can't live without: Milk. Like visions of sugarplums dancing through my head, I'm flashing back to season one, when K would walk around the office with a tall glass of milk. Why? I don't have a clue, but as an avid milk-drinker myself, I can't fault her for loving this deliciously frothy beverage. This one's for you Kalinda - A vanilla milkshake worthy of the one glass left in your apartment.
